Appalachian Rib Style Basket Making Class with Joe Bruneau

Students will learn the basics of an Appalachian rib basket with a choice of two different baskets. A melon basket or potato basket. All materials will be provided. Vines will be used for frames, undyed and dyed rattan as well as various ropes, cords, and yarns for different textures will be used for weaving.
