Enjoy a ‘hands on’ and socially engaging experience in polymer clay. You will learn the basics of working with polymer using pre-made polymer millefiori themed canes in a variety of themes and colors. These tiny designs add up to create your unique expression on a brooch, keychain or pendant.

Polymer clay is a versatile and captivating medium exploring the possibilities of color, form, shape and texture. Applications are endless! This class is designed to introduce the basic process of conditioning, forming and curing the clay. You’ll learn the foundational design principles of pattern, rhythm, contrast and movement as you choose pre-made embellishments to give work a personal voice. All materials and supplies included. Creative learners will be able to make as many projects as time and allotted materials allow. This is an all-age class.  *Please note all millefiori canes shown are OOAK (one of a kind) and pictures are for suggestion and reference only.

* Additional materials kits available at $25 per kit.

* Pre-made canes are handmade made by Barbara McGuire and additional talented artists (resources given).

Workshop is held in the workshop area of Madison County Arts Council. Enjoy the inspirational ambience of the newly renovated Arts Council located at 90 S Main St., Marshall, NC 28753.
