DESCRIPTION:\nIntroducing “Madison Rising” a collaborative mural projec
 t started in Rachael Kerley’s ART course at AB-Tech’s Madison County C
 ampus on the one-year anniversary of Helene. Supported by the Marshall Rel
 ief Alliance\, this student designed and student made mural celebrates cre
 ative collaboration and community resilience after a natural disaster.\n"M
 adison Rising" traveled to participating Madison County schools on a “Ma
 king Tour” where students added their unique contributions to the artwor
 k. \nShout-Out to Rachael for facilitating this amazing project! Another 
 Huge Shout-Out to Sarah Jones Decker for generously giving access to her g
 orgeous photography for students to create with! And thank you to the wond
 erful educators that nurtured creative courage in their classrooms and war
 mly welcomed art\, including Erin Long at Madison Early College and Kersti
 n Davis at Madison County High School. Last but not least thank you to the
  students of Madison County that participated in this project and engaged 
 with the creative process.\n
