DESCRIPTION:\nIntroducing “Madison Rising\,” a collaborative mural proj
 ect started in Rachael Kerley’s ART course at AB-Tech’s Madison County
  Campus on the one-year anniversary of Helene. Supported by the Marshall R
 elief Alliance\, this student designed and student made mural celebrates c
 reative collaboration and community resilience after a natural disaster.\n
 Madison Rising has traveled to participating Madison County schools on a 
 “Making Tour” where students added their unique contributions to the a
 rtwork.\nShout-Out to Rachael for facilitating this amazing project! Anoth
 er Huge Shout-Out to Sarah Jones Decker for generously giving access to he
 r gorgeous photography for students to create with! And thank you to the w
 onderful educators that nurtured creative courage in their classrooms and 
 warmly welcomed art\, including Erin Long at Madison Early College and Ker
 stin Davis at Madison County High School. Last but not least thank you to 
 the students of Madison County that participated in this project and engag
 ed with the creative process.
