Madison County NC Covid-19 Resources and Information

Madison County government officials are now recommending all residents shelter-in-place during the global COVID-19 pandemic. Many local businesses that supply food and other essentials are doing their best to be open during this weirdness. It is always best to call ahead and make sure they will be open if you are thinking of getting out.

The county’s emergency operations center confirmed this recommendation is asking residents to remain on their own property unless going to work, getting groceries, medication, or other necessities.

The Madison County COVID-19 hotline is 649-0755, open 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. for questions, and help with food, medication, and other necessities.
